A gamer has set a Guinness World Record by completing the entire 1985 classic Super Mario game in 4 minutes and 54.565 seconds.
Niftsky, an American gamer with several records to his name, said achieving the record was the result of years of playing Mario and hours of honing his technique to include every possible trick to eliminate even the slightest millisecond difference.
He said, "I now believe that the saying 'practice makes perfect' is true."
He told Guinness World Records that the importance of following this saying can be gauged from the fact that I spent at least 90 percent of my time practicing, which I believe has been the best way to achieve success in the game so far.
