In the US city of Orlando, a thief swallowed diamonds worth about 220 million rupees for fear of being arrested.
According to a foreign news agency report, a 32-year-old citizen named Jethan Lawrence Glider stole two pairs of diamond earrings worth 769,000 from a shopping mall in Orlando on February 26.
Jethan fled after the theft, and the police chased and arrested him, but nothing was found.
During interrogation, the accused said, "Should I be arrested for something in my stomach?" When the police did an X-ray of Jeethan, it was found that there was something in his digestive tract.
The police suspected that these objects were stolen precious diamonds, after which they are arranging for these diamonds to come out naturally, while the accused is in the custody of the police.
